Throughout his life, Stephen expressed a desire to help others and he derived great joy in doing so.  Stephen attended Catholic schools all his life, saw great value in his faith-based Catholic education, and wanted to help children whose families could not afford a Catholic School education receive one.

His battle with cancer also created a desire in him to help children who are likewise stricken with cancer. Stephen wrote on a dry erase board these two objectives that he wanted us, as a community, to continue. Stephen’s foundation was established to fulfill his wishes, and we continue to perpetuate his legacy through helping others.
