Education GrantsDuring his lifetime, Stephen greatly valued his education in the parochial school system. Before he died, Stephen's wish was to help less fortunate children have the same opportunity he had. 1 in 8 children in Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Fort Worth currently receive financial aid, and many more are in need, if only the resources were available. $500 to $1000 per year can be the difference in making parochial school possible in the life of a child. In its first two years in existence, the Foundation has provided $65,000 in financial aid to more than 100 children from 75 different families. These children attend 19 different schools in Tarrant and surrounding counties. |
